About
We run a wide and varied programme of events throughout the summer season and for those hardy souls, we also run a winter eclectic tournament.
We play every Monday at the course and have a period of restricted tees for our use. They are from about 8am until all players have teed off.

Full details of membership requirements of the section can be found in the Articles Page or from the membership secretary on request.
The section is self managing via the committee, elected annually, and maintains all of its own decision making, administration and money management while enjoying a close relationship with all club and course staff.

Events
Final round of a 3 round tournament. Best 2 of 3 rounds to count. White tees.
Match against Alford Golf Club. Team of 16 required.
The final round of a 3 round tournament. Best 2 of 3 rounds count. Yellow tees.
Match against Newburgh Golf Club. Team of 116 required.
The annual outing is to Alford Golf Club this year. Open free to all seniors who have played on a minimum of 10 Mondays from 1st April 2022. Subsidies may apply to others. Hospitality provided by Alford Golf Club. Yellow tee stableford to determine winner.

Match against Westhill Golf Club. Team of 16 required.
Open to all seniors not involved in the Team Jug competition.
This is a tournament based on The Ryder Cup format for 2 teams of 12. The 1st round is a Four Ball Best Ball from the yellow tees in match play format. Full details available in advance of the competition.
2nd round of the Team Jug. Played in a foursomes format from the yellow tees.
Open to all seniors not involved in the Team Jug.
3rd round of the Team Jug. Played in a singles match play format from the yellow tees.
White tees.
This a fun event for teams of 3 or 4 played from the yellow tees in stableford format.
This is an open competition that runs every Monday throughout the winter. It is played over 16 holes and does not count towards handicap ratings. Played under whatever winter conditions are current on the day. Stableford scoring, accumulated best scores to determine the winner.
Match against Torphins Golf Club. Team of 16 required.
This is a single round, yellow tee, stableford competition.
White tees.
Match against Portlethen Golf Club. Team of 16 required. 1st tee 10.00.
This is a fun event played from the yellow tees. Each player will have use of a maximum of 4 clubs. One of these must be a putter, the other 3 are from personal choice. Only 4 clubs can be carried on the course and no substitutes are allowed during play.
Open to all seniors not involved in the match against Portlethen.
This is the final round of a 3 round tournament. Best 2 of 3 rounds count. Yellow tees.

This is the 2nd round of a 3 round tournament. best 2 of 3 rounds count. White tees.
Match against Peterculter Golf Club. Team of 16 required. 1st tee 10.00.

This is a fun event played in teams of 3 or 4 to accommodate all entrants. It is played off of the yellow tee and usual rules of apply to all teams. Full information available on the day.

This is the 1st round of a 3 round tournament. The best 2 of 3 rounds count. White tees.
This is a 3 round event held at the the Moray Golf Club with accommodation in a local hotel. It is fully self-financing and has a capacity to host around 30 players. A trophy is awarded to the best overall player.
